HLTCC403 – Provide Dysphagia and Mealtime Management Support

This course provides workers with the knowledge and practical skills to safely support individuals with dysphagia during mealtimes.


Introduction:

Dysphagia presents significant risks if not managed correctly, including choking and aspiration. This course introduces workers to safe mealtime practices, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to support individuals with swallowing difficulties while maintaining dignity, safety, and wellbeing.


Target Audience:

Support workers, disability support staff, aged care workers, and healthcare assistants involved in mealtime support.
