HLTCC407 – Urinary Catheter and Continence Management Support

This course provides workers with the knowledge and practical skills to safely support individuals with urinary care needs.


Introduction:

Providing urinary support is a vital aspect of complex care that requires knowledge, skill, and attention to safety. This course introduces workers to the principles and practices required to safely manage urinary supports, including catheter care, infection prevention, and monitoring, while promoting dignity and wellbeing.


Target Audience:

Support workers, disability support staff, aged care workers, and healthcare assistants involved in urinary care support.
